Karen M. Suber is the Deputy General Counsel for Vision Venture Partners. Her main responsibilities include structuring and/or negotiating corporate transactions, joint ventures, Mergers and Acquisitions and corporate governance matters.
Karen worked as a senior associate in the M&A Practice Group in the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP and in the Corporate Practice Group of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. She has represented both public and private companies in connection with proxy contests, mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, spinoffs, divestitures and other complex corporate transactions. Karen is admitted to practice in the State of New York, and she is a member of the American Bar Association. Additionally, she serves on the Lawyers Committee of the Inner-City Scholarship Fund of New York City and on the Board of the Harvard Law School Association of New York.
Karen earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2006 from Harvard Law School, and also holds a Masters of Applied Economics from the University of Michigan. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from Alma College.
